Urbanization constantly conquers space from nature. If humanity would disappear in a day, Mother Nature would take it back in a few decades and our gorgeous cities would sink in the green. Despite the spread of our built environment, sometimes nature appears. Not only in the artificially created parks, but in some spontaneous spots as well. Why do we let it flourish in some situations while in most we don’t? It seems like nature uses love as a weapon: we think they’re beautiful so we let them live. Maybe the vegetation’s beauty is not only consequential of evolution, it might become a necessary condition because of us? How unfair: what we determine ugly gets killed, what is seen beautiful is left alive.
